Good grief. Getting up close and personal with a lotus blossom is no easy task. Early morning arrival is always a good idea; soft lighting is definitely a bonus. Of course you don't want to get up too early 'cause our flower friend is slow to wake up. They live in a mud "puddle". Supposedly the pods taste good, and if they are within reach, will be carted home for dinner. Fortunately, this blossom went undetected.~~~~~

I have been away from your blog for awhile. I needent give a reason as blogging isn't a requirement for living. So much has happened since my last comment. I have cut my toenails 3 times, changed the oil in my car, dusted off Klynt's fishing gear, played some horrible golf, played some great golf (isn't golf always like that), spent a week in Canada, enjoyed several bonfires, wore my swimming suit for 3 days straight without a wash mixed in, worked in my dad's garden, watched baby racoons play in a tree, sampled many a wine, slept through several movies,
killed heaps of bugs, made someone a special meal, eaten many a meals, tasted pickled green beans, made new friends, negelected old ones, popped a chest zit, turned my car into a clothes closet, slept way to little, laughed way too much, failed to shave off my summer beard, wore my girl socks i bought in china golfing, was laughed at (mainly at my socks), gave some lessons, played the role, walked a mile in someones shoes, not used a comb once, lost 5pounds, gained 5 pounds, lost 5 pounds, gained, lost, listened a lot, talked some, yelled some, ignored, borrowed, built, walked, ran, i have several more things that have happened but i am not sure you really care.

I miss my friends that live way over the mountains, across the ocean on the other side of the world. I feel they are so far out of the loop they can't even see it spinning. So the loop spins without them even knowing. It slows down, speeds up, stops, whirls out of control, joins other loops. Distance, another time zone, a different day, CHINA, has given my friends loopfree vision. I wonder if the loop will remain free from their vision upon their return. Will they see the loop spinning?
I had someone tell me today that i am not a very good singer. Now i know that this isn't brand new information but it made me think of friends. True friends are the ones you can break out in song in front of. Have you sang to a freind lately?
