I would have to say, one of the perks that come along with living in China, make that Suzhou, would have to be the 'early' arrival of spring. 'Early' according to Michigan standards, of which I happen to be a bit more familiar.
As I looked out the window this morning, I noticed many subtle but pleasant changes. While I love all of the seasons for different reasons, I do have my own particular favorite. I’m sure if you know me, or have followed my blog, it’s not too terribly hard to figure out which one. However, spring runs a pretty close second.
Now it’s safe to bet, that in the upcoming days ahead, winter will undoubtedly have a few last words, but in the end, will make way for its welcomed replacement.
Below are the photos I promised. Klynt took most of these, okay, not most, but ALL. My camera and I are having a bit of a spat. Don’t worry, we’ll work it out. (Is anybody interested in buying a really nice digital camera?)

Hi, Dana,
It's Victoria, Paige and Jamin's Aunt Jenny!
I am seriously looking into buying a digital camera, but I don't know if you were serious or just hating the one you have right now!
Let me know!
And your photos are just gorgeous!
Oooo....I can't wait for Spring to get to Michigan. I did notice that my daffodils are starting to pop up by the garage though. Even though we have weeks to go, at least for today it is sunny and clear!
Jenny - I'm really glad you like the photos. Thanks! I am hating my camera right now, but Klynt is convinced that we just don't have some of the settings quite right. SO, it looks like I'll be stuck with it for a while longer...UGH! What kind of camera are you thinking about getting?
The market near our apartment is selling daffodils...and paperwhites. I almost bought one of each. Maybe I will go back some time this week. Today it is raining. :(
Ok, Dana, I don't "like" your photos--I just love them. They are beautiful!
I am not quite sure what to get, to be honest. I know what I want the camera to do, and I have a half decent eye, but I don't know what I need to get to produce the results I want. UGH!!!
Any suggestions?
My husband is a fan of Nikon. The camera I'm currently using is a Nikon S550. It isn't anything fancy. It is small and easy to use...point and shoot. Well, fairly easy. It's been temperamental when it comes to shooting close-ups. Otherwise it's been great!
